Application for MFB Recruit Firefighter

To complete your online application you will need the following:

• Credit Card
  You will need a valid credit card to pay the fee of $85.00. Persons without a personal credit card may wish to seek the support of a relative or friend to use their credit card for payment.

• Access to a computer with internet access
  Persons without a computer and/or internet access can apply using computers available at municipal libraries and internet cafés.

• Email address
  All correspondence with candidates is by email. Please ensure that the email you give in the online application form is correct.
  If you do not have a private email address you can sign up for a free email account with either:

  • Hotmail - http://www.hotmail.com
  • Yahoo - http://mail.yahoo.com

• Driver's Licence
  You will be required to hold a current driver's licence to apply. The driver's licence number is required on the enrolment form.

Cancellation policy

Please note that, should you cancel your application before the date below, a refund, less administrative costs of 50% of the application fee, will be issued. All cancellations need to be in writing.

No refunds will be issued for candidates whose cancellation is received after
5pm on a specified day about a week before the test
